In recent years, the Multinational Enterprise (MNE) has been one of the most significant drivers of economic growth and innovation, and its structure and impact are changing. The changing nature of the MNE from its roots in the developed world and many of the linkages between the MNE and economic and civil society, both locally and globally, give scope for a new and more comprehensive examination of the interactions between the MNE and its institutional environment. You will be working with MNEs to build their understanding of how best to structure their networks for performance and effectiveness that is socially and economically sustainable regionally and globally.
You will publish in world-leading journals and develop a research profile that will contribute to the University’s global reputation. You will supervise PhD students and contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate programme portfolio of the International Business Division. You will also be expected to submit grant applications.
You will be a quantitative researcher, able to undertake econometric analysis of large datasets, with some experience in multi-level modelling, economics and institutional research. The ability to teach at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, as well as a clear and compelling vision for personal academic development are also essential to the role.
University Grade 8 (£38,511 to £45,954)
